Welcome to HerbalNet Institutional Repository ...

HerbalNet Digital Repository is a wide-ranging collection of digital intellectual materials on herbal and traditional medicine from WHO offices and WHO partner institutions in the South-East Asia Region.

The objectives of HerbalNet are:

  • to promote inter- or multi-institutional collaboration among interested countries in the area of herbal medicine.
  • to share evidence-based information and country experiences in the use of herbal medicine in primary health care, and
  • to promote the safety, efficacy and quality of herbal medicines by exchanging information on national norms and standards.

HerbalNet is organized under three broad sections designated as "Categories", "Sub-categories" and "Collections". Information can be searched by various criteria such as author names, title words, subject terms and any word in the original document and receive results sorted by relevance.

Most items in the Repository are available as original full-text documents or full resolution images and videos. However, downloading of some of the items may be restricted due to copy right protection.
